When your mirrors are adjusted correct, you will have a good overview which enables you to prevent accidents. The mirror adjustments locations are a good aid for the driver.Drive your truck exactly between the marked lines. Stop the vehicle, when you see the control line (at the right side on the ground) exactly beside you. You eyesight should, in one overview, pass this line. Make sure that drivers seat is configured n the right position and take an upright seat. Then take a look at the left side.
